RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF
CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SER-
VICES TO RELOCATE VARIOUS WATER AND SEWER MAINS
ACROSS PHASE II PORTION OF HOLLIDAY CREEK
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls in conjunction with the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers is deepening and realigning the Holliday Creek channel;
WHEREAS, there are fifteen utility mains from East Scott Street to
Southwest Parkway that must be relocated to conform with the proposed Phase
II project;
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined a proposed contract with the
consulting firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. to design the utility relo-
cations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc.
for engineering design of fifteen utility main relocations across Holliday
Creek is hereby approved. The consultant fee for this project is not to
exceed $130,000.00. The City Manager is authoriz-d to execute the cont :ct.
