RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF OLD UNCOLLECTIBLE ACCOUNTS
RECEIVABLE TOTALING $61 , 133.26 FROM AN ACTION TO DORMANT STATUS.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has recommended that old
accounts receivable which were due before September 30, 1987, be
deemed uncollectible, and that they be removed from the ledger and be
transferred to dormant status.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to remove from the
general ledger the hereinafter set out charges made by the City , which
are now deemed uncollectible, totaling $61 , 133.26 TO WIT:

Although such accounts receivable are placed on dormant status,
reasonable efforts will be made to collect these accounts receivable,
either by the City Attorney or the City ' s collection agency.
