RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH ENGINEERING
CONSULTING FIRM OF BIGGS & MATHEWS, INC. FOR A
PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY ON SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS IN SOUTHWEST DRAINAGE BASIN
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to determine the improvements
necessary to remove sewer restrictions on the southwest drainage basin;
WHEREAS, this will require an engineering study to specify the improvements
and estimate costs; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract between the City
of Wichita Falls and the engineering consulting firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for
this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. to produce
a preliminary engineering report on sanitary sewer improvements in the southwest
drainage basin is hereby approved in the maximum amount of $19,500.00, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute the contract.
