RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO
JASPER STREET WATER TREATMENT RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Decker Construction
company, Inc. of Abilene, Texas for a project to renovate an upflow clarifier
and install a lime conveying system at the Jasper Street Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, certain changes in the design of the lime conveying system are
necessary to assure an efficient system and prevent air pollution;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
24,200.00 for this purpose; and,
WHEREAS, the contract price, adjusted by Change Order No. 1 , of $408,800.00
will be increased to $433,000.00 by Change Order No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 to the Jasper Street Water Treatment Plant Renovation
Project is hereby approved in the amount of $24,200.00, increasing the contract price
to $433,000.00. The City Manager is authorized to execute change order 2
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF AUGU T, 1987.
