AWARD OF BID FOR LIQUID FERRIC SULPHATE AND
ASSOCIATED POLYMER FOR WATER TREATMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls uses various chemicals in the
treatment of water;
WHEREAS, a bid was completed for the chemicals to be used during the
next year; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a summary of the bids received for
liquid ferric sulphate and its associated polymer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for liquid ferric sulphate is awarded to Midland Resources, Inc.
of Lawrence, Kansas in the amount of $58,064.55. The bid for the associated
polymer is awarded to Leemins Chemical Company, Richardson, Texas, in the amount
of $16,386.93.
