RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL STATEMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND PROPOSED
USE OF FUNDS UNDER THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AS AMENDED AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE 1987-1988 FISCAL YEAR GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has conducted Public
Hearings on the proposed use of $1,269,000 in Community
Development Block Grant funds, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken public comments given at
these hearings into consideration in amending and revising the
Final Statement of Community Development Objectives and Proposed
Use of Funds.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an
application for federal funds (SF 424) and execute the necessary
grant agreement forms and contracts that might be required by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development to receive the Fiscal
Year 1987-88 Community Development Block Grant Entitlement funds.
