RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE
TEXAS STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of the Texas Street Construction Project,
which bids were made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Ralph Garza Construction Company, who bid unit prices with an
estimated total of $72,250. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the only irregularity to the bid, the omission of a
Noncollusion Affidavit, such affidavit being completed later; is
considered as an informality insignificant to the legitimacy of
the bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid of Ralph Garza Construction Company with
an estimated total of $72,250. 00 is hereby accepted with the
aforementioned irregularity waived, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said
contractor for the construction of bid project.
