RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
FORCE MAIN INSTALLATION AND LIFT STATIONS NUMBER
TWO AND FIVE REPLACEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the
construction of Force Main Installation and replacement of Lift Stations
Number Two and Five; and,
WHEREAS, eight bids were received, and the bid of Rhode Pipe Company
of $210,949.00 is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Rhode Pipe Company in the amount of $210,949.00 for the
construction of Force Main Installation and replacement of Lift Stations
Number Two and Five is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with such contractor for this project.
