RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER 5 TO 1986 BUDGET
UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND RADY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Opex, Incorporated of Olney,
Texas for the 1986 Budget Utility Improvement Project;
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended replacement of a water line on
Avenue L between Hayes Street and Grant Street to preclude further damage
and neighborhood disruption;
WHEREAS, the cost to accomplish this work will be $28,841.00, bringing
the new contract price for the 1986 Budget Utility Improvement Project to
470,010.44; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed change order for this
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order Number 5 to the 1986 Budget Utility Improvement Project
is hereby approved in the amount of $28,841.00, bringing the new contract
price to $470,010.44. The City Manager is authorized to execute Change
Order Number 5.
