RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE KIWANIS PARK SERVICE DRIVE PROJECT AND CHANGE
ORDER NUMBER 1
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract dated June
2, 1987, for the construction of the Kiwanis Park Service Drive Project; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications; excepting only conditions described in Change Order #1
for which the contractor requests an additional $505.00; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the actual cost
based upon measured quantities was $10,965.88; however, $10,417.58 has been
paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $548.30; and,
WHEREAS, this project was inspected and completed on July 8, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay the contractor
the amounts as set out above.
