RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE REAPPOINTMENT
OF BOB BROTHERTON AND DAN TOMPKINS AS SUB-
STITUTE JUDGES OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR
TERMS OF TWO YEARS.
WHEREAS, heretofore the Mayor appointed Bob Brotherton, Dan
Tompkins and Don Maxfield as substitute judges of the Municipal
Court for terms of two years after September 1, 1985, which
appointments were consented to by the City Council by Resolution
No. 107-85; and,
WHEREAS, Don Maxfield has moved away from the City of
Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Charles Harper has reappointed Bob Brotherton
and Dan Tompkins as substitute judges of the Municipal Court, to
act in the place and stead of the Municipal Judge during any
period during which he is temporarily unable to act for any
reason; such appointment is for terms of two years, beginning
September 1, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby consents to such reappointment of
Bob Brotherton and Dan Tompkins as substitute judges of the
Municipal Court for terms of two years, beginning September 1,
1987.
