RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF ARTHUR-
MOSS CONSTRUCTION FOR CONCRETE FOR THE
FOUR-FIELD SOFTBALL COMPLEX (CSA PROJECT
NO. 86042) .
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for
bids for the concrete for the four-field softball complex;
and,
WHEREAS, nine bids were received, and it is determined
that the base bid of Arthur-Moss Construction of Wichita
Falls, in the amount of $101,990. 00, with Alternate #1 of
6,930. 00, Alternate #2 of $1,585. 00, and Alternate #3 of
9,738. 00, in the total bid amount of $120,243 .00, is the
lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Arthur-Moss Construction in the amount of
120,243.00 for the concrete for the four-field softball
complex is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with Arthur-Moss
Construction for such project.
