RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS TO REPLACE THE
BOILERS AT THE WICHITA FALLS HEALTH
DEPARTMENT FACILITY AND AUTHORIZING
THE USE OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS FOR
THIS PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the existing boilers at the Health Department
have exceeded their service life and require immediate
replacement; and,
WHEREAS, Thomas Engineering has prepared a Heating,
Ventilation and Air Conditioning Study of the facility and
prepared appropriate bid specifications for such
replacement; and,
WHEREAS, funds for this replacement are not available
within the Health Department' s operating budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to advertise for
bids to replace the boilers at the Wichita Falls Health
Department facility. Further, funding for this project is
authorized from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds set =side for
Capital Improvement Projects.
