RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH WICHITA
COUNTY AND THE CITIES OF BURKBURNETT AND
IOWA PARK FOR ALLOCATION OF THE SUBSIDY
FOR CONTRACT WITH LIFE LINE EMERGENCY
MEDICAL SERVICES , INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the City Manager to enter
into a contract between Wichita County and the Cities of Wichita Falls ,
Burkburnett and Iowa Park and Life Line Emergency Medical Services , Inc.
for the provision of ambulance service for the one-year period beginning
July 24 , 1987 and ending July 23 , 1988 ; and
WHEREAS, the Entities have agreed in said contract to furnish a
subsidy to assist Life Line Emergency Medical Services , Inc. in provid-
ing ambulance services to the citizens of the Entities .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with
Wichita County and the Cities of Burkburnett and Iowa Park for alloca-
tion of the subsidy provided in the contract with Life Line Emergency
Medical Services , Inc. for the one-year period beginning July 24 , 1987
and ending July 23, 1988.

AGREEMENT FOR ALLOCATION OF
SUBSIDY FOR CONTRACT WITH
LIFE LINE EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, on the day of 1987, the City of
Burkburnett, Texas, the City of Iowa Park, Texas, the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas and Wichita County, Texas, hereinafter
referred to as "Entities" and Life Line Emergency Medical
Services, Inc. , Texas Corporation, hereinafter referred to as
Contractor," entered into a contract for a one-year period
beginning July 24, 1987 and ending July 23 , 1988 for the
provision of ambulance service to the Entities on an independent
contractor basis; and
WHEREAS, the Entities have agreed in said contract to
furnish a subsidy to assist Contractor in providing ambulance
services to the citizens of the Entities,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Entities, do hereby agree to the
following terms and conditions:
I. The Entities agree to provide an annual subsidy of
180,200 to the Contractor.
II. The subsidy shall be allocated among the Entities as
follows: Wichita County - 50%, City of Wichita Falls -
420, City of Burkburnett - 5% and City of Iowa Park -
30.
III . The Entities shall pay one-twelfth ( 1/12) of their
portion of the subsidy to the City of Wichita on or
before the twenty-fifth of each month.
IV. The City of Wichita Falls shall pay the Contractor one-
twelfth ( 1/12) of the total annual subsidy on the last
day of the month.
