RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF
CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC. , CONSULTING ENGINEERS
FOR THE DESIGN OF UTILITY LINE RELOCATIONS ACROSS
HOLLIDAY CREEK AT EASTSIDE DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls in conjunction with U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers is widening and re-aligning the existing Holliday Creek
channel ;
WHEREAS, the 6" water main and 10" sanitary sewers near Eastside
Drive are not compatible with the design of Holliday Creek and must be relocated
in order to accomodate this Public Works Project;
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined a proposed contract with the firm
of Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. , to design the relocations so that the construction
project can proceed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. for
design of relocation of 6" water line and 10" sanitary sewer line across Holliday
Creek at Eastside Drive within the City of Wichita Falls is hereby approved in the
amount not to exceed $10,000.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
said contract.
