RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1 AND
ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING FINAL
PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF THE
SHEPPARD ACCESS ROAD BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT PHASE
ONE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract dated April
21, 1987 for the construction of the Sheppard Access Road Beautification
Project Phase One; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with the plans
e Orderandspecifications, excepting only conditions described in fled Change
Number 1 for which the contractor requests an additional $400.00; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the estimated cost
based on actual quantities with Change Order Number 1 is $71,827.90; however,
36,077.50 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $35,750.40;
and,
WHEREAS, this project was inspected and complete on June 30, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, Change Order Number 1 is approved, and the City Manager is authorized
and directed to pay the contractor the amount as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7TH DAY OF J 1987.
