RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE KEMP BOULEVARD REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Zack Burkett Company entered into
a contract dated September 22, 1986, for the Kemp Boulevard Rehabilitation
Project; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in general accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the total cost
based on completed quantities was $203,731.25; however, $182,658.45 has been
paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $21,072.80. The project
was completed January 2, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay the
contractor the amount due as set out above.
