RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE
KEMP STREET PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with the Zack Burkett
Company for improvements to Kemp Avenue between Kell and Hampstead; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has filed claims for $28,171.27; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has agreed to accept $9,278.14 for settlement
of all claims beyond the contractual amount set forth in the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to the contract for the Kemp Street Improvement
Project is hereby approved in the amount of $9,278.14 and the City Manager
is authorized to execute said change order, changing the total contract
price to $203,731.25.
