RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF L. J. TAYLOR
COMPANY, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SERVICE
DRIVE/SIDEWALK NEAR THE SOFTBALL FIELDS
AT KIWANIS PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for
bids for construction of a service drive/sidewalk near the
softball fields at Kiwanis Park; and,
WHEREAS, seven bids were received, and it is found that
L. J. Taylor Company, Inc. , who bid $10 , 817 . 34 , is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of L. J. Taylor Company, Inc. , in the amount
of $10 ,817 . 34 for the construction of a service drive/sidewalk
near the softball fields at Kiwanis Park is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
such contractor for this project.
