RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO REQUEST PROPOSALS FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES TO THE KEMP
PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to improve the library
services offered to residents of the City of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager' s Office recently conducted an
Analysis of the Current Operations of the Kemp Public Library;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hire a consultant to
look beyond the current operation of the Kemp Public Library and
evaluate what type of library system the City of Wichita Falls
should have.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to request proposals
for consulting services for the purpose of evaluating what type
of library system the City of Wichita Falls should have.
