AWARD OF BID FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE WIC ADDITION TO THE
HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received a grant from the
U. S. Department of Agriculture through the State Health Department
for the full cost of constructing an addition to the Health
Department for the Women, Infants and Children Program; and
WHEREAS, this project has been advertised and bids have been
received; and
WHEREAS, both the State and the USDA must approve the award of
this bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Arthur/Moss Construction in the amount of $184,155
for the construction of the WIC addition to the Health Department is
hereby accepted pending approval of this award by the State
Department of Health and the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Upon
receipt of such approvals, the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for construction of this project with Arthur/Moss
Construction Company.
