RESOLUTION TO APPROVE INTERLOCAL COOPERATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF WICHITA, TEXAS
AND THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is installing a 20-inch
water line near the south right-of-way line of Reilly Road, immediately
west of City View Lane;
WHEREAS, the easement obtained by the City for the installation
of the water line is within a planned right-of-way for a Farm-to-Market Road;
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of Wichita County, Texas, have
requested the City to move the water line before it is installed to facilitate
the future construction of the Farm-to-Market Road;
WHEREAS, the County has agreed to bear the expenses of an additional
easement, certain engineering costs, and certain additions to an existing con-
struction contract; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed Interlocal Cooperation
Agreement between the County and the City for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the County of Wichita,
Texas, and the City of Wichita Falls, Texas for the purpose of relocating a
20-inch water line be approved and the City Manager is authorized to ex-cute
the agreement for the City of Wichita Falls.
