RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH THE
FIRM OF CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC.,
CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR A STUDY OF
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the allowable discharge limits on treated wastewater will be
decreased by the State of Texas upon renewal of our permit in 1992; and,
WHEREAS, certain capital modifications and improvements will necessarily
have to be identified and made to the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant to
meet the stricter limits; and,
WHEREAS, the firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. is qualified to make such
a study, and proposes to do so in accordance with the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract between the City of Wichita Falls and the engineering firm of
Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc., is approved at a fee not to exceed $12,000.00, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute the contra .
