RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT FOR INJECTION OF
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SLUDGE INTO AGRICULTURAL LAND
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to dispose of digested sludge
from the Wastewater Treatment Plant on River Road by injecting the sludge
underground on agricultural land;
WHEREAS, Mr. & Mrs. James T. Sternadel own approximately 65 acres of
agricultural land which they have agreed to make available for the sludge
injection program; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract between the City
and Mr. & Mrs. Sternadel for the purpose of the sludge injection program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract is hereby approved and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the contract for the City.
