RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
TO ARTHUR STREET ELEVATED WATER STORAGE
TANK RELOCATION
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with the construction firm of
Abhe & Svoboda for the disassembly, relocation, and reconstruction of a 1MG
Elevated Water Storage Tank;
WHEREAS, the steel riser pipe on the tank has been determined to be
structurally unsound and the City desires to replace the pipe; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a change order for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to replace the riser pipe is approved in the amount
of $26,000.00, bringing the total price of the contract between the City and
Abhe & Svododa to $343,285.00. The City Manager is authorized to execute Change
Order No. 1 for the purposes stated.
