RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
LANDFILL BUILDING EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract dated
December 2, 1986, for the construction of the Landfill Building Extension
Project;
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on actual quantities is $23,694.00; however, $19,949.49 has been
paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $3,744.51 ; and,
WHEREAS, this project was completed on April 15, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amout due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 21ST DAY OF APRIL, 1987.
