RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 2 FOR THE
1987 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MILLING AND STREET OVER-
LAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls awarded a contract to the Jake
Holmes Construction Company on March 17, 1987, wherein said contractor
agreed to construct the 1987 Community Development Milling and Street
Overlay Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 for the milling and overlay of 10th Street
approximately 400' southwest of Holliday Street would increase the ride
quality to the travelling public; and,
WHEREAS, this change order is estimated to cost an additional $5,600.00,
increasing the final contract value of $345,326.00 to $350,926.00 which
includes Change Order No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 for an
amount not to exceed $5,600.00, and to amend the aforementioned contract
allowing 1 additional working day for the construction of this additional
work.
