RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1
FOR THE 1987 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MILLING
AND STREET OVERLAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls awarded a contract to the Jake Holmes
Construction Company March 17, 1987, wherein said contractor agreed to construct
the 1987 Community Development Milling and Street Overlay Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 for the overlay of Hammon Road would
increase the ride quality to the travelling public; and,
WHEREAS, this change order is estimated to cost an additional $11,000.00
increasing the final contract value of $334,326.00 to $345,326.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for an
amount not to exceed $11,000, and to amend the aforementioned contract allowing 1
additional working day for the construction of this ; •ditional work.
