RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE HARVARD STREET
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the
construction of the Harvard Street Construction Project, which bids were
made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is L. J. Taylor
and Company, who bid unit prices with an estimated total of $20,293.25; and,
WHEREAS, the L. J. Taylor Company has asked the City to approve the
attached change order deducting $503.50 from the contract price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price of L. J. Taylor and Company with an estimated total
of $20,293.25 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said contractor for the construction
of such project; and Change Order Number 1 to the Harvard Street Construction
Project is approved.
