RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED BUDGET
FOR THE WICHITA COUNTY 9-1-1 COMMUNICATIONS
DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1 , 1986 ,
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30 , 1987
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls is a participating jurisdiction
in the Wichita County 9- 1- 1 Communications District ; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget of the District for FY 1986-1987
has been presented to the City and found to be reasonable and appropriate ,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , THAT :
The proposed budget for the Wichita County 9- 1- 1 Communications District
a copy of which is attached to and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 5th day of March , 1987.

INCOME
Article 1432e , Sec . 11 (b) . The board of managers may charge a
9-1-1 emergency service fee at a rate not to exceed three percent
of the base rate of the principal service supplier per service
per year per month in the participating jurisdiction. - - - - The
9-1-1 emergency service fee must have uniform application and
must be imposed within all participating jurisdictions . In the
order properly filed and recorded in Wichita County County Clerk
Office , November 20, 1986 , states : "THEREFORE , the board of
managers of the Wichita County 9-1-1 Communications District
does hereby order that the 9-1-1 emergency service fee shall be
charged at a rate of 3% of the base rate of Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company per service year per month, on each class of
service and the emergency service fee shall be as follows:

retain as an administrative fee an amount equal to two percent
of the collected 9-1-1 fees . "
24 , 030 less collection fee = $23, 550 X 18 mos. _ $423, 900.
The amount of the fee collected in any month by the service
supplier shall be remitted to the District not later than the
60th day after the last day of the calndar month.
March, 1987, fee of $23 , 550 will be received June 1 , 1987 . This
income will be used to repay advances and operational expenses.
April fees will be received on July 1 , 1987 and will be the first
monies available for investments .
