RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO UTILIZE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS
TO SELECTED AREAS OF THE SHEPPARD ACCESS ROAD MEDIANS .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
has previously authorized the Public Works Department to develop
the necessary plans and to go to bid on the beautification of the
three block area of the Sheppard Access Road medians ; and
WHEREAS, City staff has met with the Sheppard Access Road
Beautification Committee and established the appropriate scope
for such project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to accept the proposed scope
of this project and authorize a funding source ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The scope of the project as outlined by the Director of
Public Works after a meeting with the Sheppard Access Beautification
Committeeis hereby accepted. Futher, the City Manager is hereby
authorized to utilize federal revenue sharing funds currently
available (Fund 92 , Department 919) , for the construct ' on of
this project .
