RESOLUTION WAIVING COURT FEES FOR MIDWESTERN STATE
UNIVERSITY TENNIS TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY
21, 1987 .
WHEREAS, Midwestern State University is hosting a four-team
tennis tournament on Saturday, February 21, 1987 , for which
they are reserving six courts at either the Hamilton Park Tennis
Center or Weeks Park Tennis Center, and they have requested
that the City Council waive the normal tennis court fees for
such tournament; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances
involved in this request are exceptional, and that such request
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The daily court fees heretofore established for Hamilton
Park Tennis Center and Weeks Park Tennis Center are hereby waived
for the four-team tennis center which will be hosted by Midwestern
State University on Saturday, February 21, 1987 .
