RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH AN
ARCHITECTURAL FIRM FOR SERVICES RELATING
TO AN ADDITION TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
BUILDING FOR THE WIC PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the current Health Department Building lacks
sufficient space to adequately operate the WIC program; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Health has agreed to
totally fund an addition to the Health Building for use by
the wiC program; and,
WHEREAS, this facility must be designed and constructed
prior to the end of this Fiscal Year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to neogitate and
execute a contract with Bundy, Young, Sims and Potter for
architectural services related to the construction of an addition
to the Health Department Building for the WIC program.
The total cost of this contract to the City shall not
exceed $14,200. 00
