RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE SANITARY LANDFILL SOIL LINER PROJECT II
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Beavers Construction Company
entered into a contract dated October 7, 1986, for the construction of the
Sanitary Landfill Soil Liner Project II;
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated cost
based on estimated quantities was $413,889.45; however, $347,725.31 has been
paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $43,805.36, $22,358.78 under
the original contract price. The project was accepted January 14, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
1 the amount due as set out above.
