RESOLUTION TO AWARD BIDS FOR REPAIR AND
PAINTING OF NINTH STREET ELEVATED WATER
TANK AND JASPER WATER PLANT GROUND STORAGE
WATER TANK
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the
repair and painting of the Ninth Street Elevated Water Storage Tank and the
Jasper Water Treatment Plant Ground Storage Tank, which bids were to be made
on a unit price and lump sum basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Lupton Paint
Company, Shawnee, Oklahoma, who bid lump sum and unit prices with an estimated
total of $89,900.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid of Lupton Paint Company with an estimated total of $89,900.00
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for
the City with said Contractor for said work.
