RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO PIPE
LINE LICENSE FOR WATER PIPE LINE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls intends to install a major
water transmission line from the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant to
Road;the vicinity of the North Central Expressway intersection with Reillyeill
WHEREAS, this project will require several crossings of railroads,
each crossing requiring a pipe line license from the Rail Company;
WHEREAS, the Council on August 19, 1986, approved a pipe line license
with the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company for a crossing of a 16" water
pipe line at Mile Post -B-5.94, near the intersection of North Central Expressway
and Reilly Road;
WHEREAS, since that pipe line license approval , the engineering
plans have been changed and a 20" pipe line will now be installed, necessitating
an amendment to the original pipe line license; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered an amendment to Pipe Line License
No. 37487, the license covering the original 16" water pipe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The amendment to Pipe Line License No. 37487 to change the size of
water pipe from 16" to 20" is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized
to execute the amendment.
