A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
PURCHASE, MAINTENANCE, AND LICENSING CONTRACTS WITH
MUNICIPAL SOFTWARE CONSULTANTS, INC. AND INTERNATIONAL
BUSINESS MACHINES (IBM) CORPORATION FOR AN AUTOMATED
PERMIT TRACKING COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR THE BUILDING
INSPECTION DIVISION OF THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to implement
a computerized automated permit tracking system for the
Building Inspection Division of the Planning Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to contract with Municipal
Software Consultants, Inc. and International Business Machines
IBM) Corporation for the purchase, maintenance, and licensing
of the necessary computer hardware and software.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute pur-
chase, maintenance, and licensing contracts with Municipal
Software Consultants Inc. and International Business Machines
IBM) Corporation for an amount not exceeding sixty-eight
thousand dollars ( $68,000) for an automated permit tracking
computer system for the Building Inspection Division of the
Planning Department.
