AWARD OF BID FOR RELOCATION OF EIGHT-INCH WATER
MAIN IN THE VICINITY OF HOLLIDAY STREET BRIDGE
TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the relocation
of an eight-inch water main in the vicinity of the Holliday
Street bridge; and,
WHEREAS, two bids were received, and it is found that Bowles
Construction Company, Inc. , who bid $21, 399 . 28 is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Bowles Construction Company, Inc. is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
with such contractor for this project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of January, 1987 .
