RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT WATER DISTRIBUTION COMPLEX
PAVEMENT REPAIR PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND
AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Jalyn Construction
Company for paving of the parking lot at the Water Distribution
Complex on East Scott;
WHEREAS, the work is complete and has been inspected and
found acceptable by the City staff; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of work accomplished has a value of
$85,938.47 and the contractor has been paid $74,153.23, leaving
an amount due of $11,785.24.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to pave the parking area at the East Scott Water
Distribution Complex is hereby accepted as complete and the City
Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $11,785.24 to
the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 20TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1988.
