RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Sur -Flo Utilities with the estimated total cost of
$122,715.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$132,544.36 of which $116,579.18 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $15,965.18; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Community Development Overlay Project is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the
contractor.
