RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH BELL
TELEPHONE TO RELOCATE FIBER OPTIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to construct an
improvement called Phase II of the Holliday Creek; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Corps of Engineers to
include this work in their Phase II plans and specifications;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must reimburse the Corps
of Engineers for the cost of the relocation of these telephone
ducts; and,
WHEREAS, the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company must
reimburse the City of Wichita Falls for the cost of relocation as
the existing ducts lie within the Jasper Street right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The service contract number WCF-130 is hereby approved which
permits the City of Wichita Falls to bill the Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company in the amount of $33,000.00 after the
relocation of the telephone duct is complete.
