RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO HIGH
SERVICE PUMP SYSTEM AT JASPER STREET WATER
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City has budgeted for the installation of a
variable speed pump assembly at the Jasper Street Water Treatment
Plant;
WHEREAS, the technical considerations of this pump assembly
are complex and must have fairly extensive analysis to define the
technical aspects of the pump, motor and control system;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the engineering firm of
Biggs & Mathews, Inc. to conduct the stated study and analysis;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered a proposed contract for
this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the engineering firm of Biggs &
Mathews, Inc. is hereby approved in the amount of $12,000.00.
The City Manager is authorized to execute the contract.
