RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM FOR IMPROVEMENTS
TO RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must make certain
improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant in order to meet
newly imposed effluent standards;
WHEREAS, the modifications to meet the effluent standards,
have been identified and costed in a preliminary engineering
report issued in June 1988;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage an engineering firm to
design the modifications; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract with
the engineering firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. to perform
the stated engineering work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the engineering firm of Corlett,
Probst & Boyd for improvements to the River Road Wastewater
Treatment Plant is hereby approved and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the contract for the City.
