RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY HERETOFORE ISSUED
TO CLAUDIO RAMIREZ, SR., FOR THE OPERATION OF
ADDITIONAL TAXICABS.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 74 -85, adopted June 18, 1985, the
City Council granted and issued to Claudio Ramirez, Sr., a
certificate of public convenience and necessity for the operation
of a taxicab, which resolution was amended by Resolution No. 146-
85; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Ramirez has requested authority to operate five
additional taxicabs in the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on this
application; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the public convenience
requires the operation of additional taxicabs, and that the
applicant is fit to conduct this business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The certificate of public convenience and necessity issued
and granted to Claudio Ramirez, Sr., by Resolution No. 74 -85, and
amended by Resolution No. 146 -85, is hereby amended to authorize
Claudio Ramirez, Sr. to operate five additional taxicabs, subject
to the present and future ordinances and resolutions of the City.
