RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 188 -88 TO
CHANGE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LIBRARY PLANNING
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on September 20, 1988, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 188 -88 in which they established a Library
Planning Committee, consisting of fifteen voting members and
three ex- officio members; the voting membership of the committee
was composed of six Library Advisory Board members, four members
of the Friends of the Library, two City Councilors, and three
volunteers from the general public; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to change the membership of
the committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The first paragraph which is resolved in Resolution No.
188 -88 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"There is hereby established a Library Planning Committee,
which shall consist of fifteen voting members and five ex- officio
members. The voting membership of the committee will be composed
of four Library Advisory Board members and eleven members of the
Friends of the Library /at- large. Two of the non - voting ex-
officio members shall be City Councilors, and three shall be
members of the City staff."
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th day of October, 1988.
