RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL FENCE PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Thacker -Berre Construction Co., Inc. with the
estimated total cost of $8,015.50; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$8,015.50 of which $5,610.85 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $2,404.65; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Fence Project is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 4TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1988.
