RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO REPAIR AND
REPAINT CLARIFIERS AT WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with B & W Fabricators for
repair and repainting of clarifiers 1 and 3 of the River Road
Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the contract is in the amount of $81,950.00 and the
City has previously made payments to the contractor in the amount
of $36,877.50, leaving an amount due to the contractor of
$45,072.50; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the work, found it
acceptable and recommended to Council that the project be
accepted as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to repair and repaint clarifiers 1 and 3 at the
River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the
contractor in the amount of $45,072.50.
