RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL SCALE
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
with Nicol Scales Company for installation of scales at the
landfill; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and has been inspected
and found acceptable by the City staff; and,
WHEREAS, the total amount due for the work is $57,319.75 of
which $51,587.77 has been paid to the contractor, and $400.00 is
justly due to the City as liquidated damages outlined in the
contract, leaving amount due of $5,331.98.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Wichita Falls landfill scale project is hereby accepted
as complete and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor in the amount of $5,331.98.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1988.
