RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
WITH ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM FOR 1989
BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the engineering firm
of Corlett, Probst & Boyd entered a contract on August 16, 1988
for the 1989 Budget Utility Improvements Project;
WHEREAS, the City desires to add an additional sewer line to
the list of projects for extension;
WHEREAS, the engineering firm has stated a cost not to
exceed $5,000.00 for the additional work; and,
WHEREAS, Council has examined a proposed contract amendment
to incorporate the additional project and to increase the
engineering fee of the original contract from $60,000.00 to
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract amendment to the August 16, 1988
contract between the engineering consulting firm of Corlett,
Probst & Boyd, Inc. and the City of Wichita Falls for the 1989
Budget Utility Improvements Project is hereby approved to
incorporate the engineering design of a sewer line to serve the
Bethania Hospital area. The engineering fee is increased from
$60,000.00 to $65,000.00. The City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract amendment.
