RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 1987 CYPRESS PLANT
RENOVATION PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE
THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with BRB Contractors, Inc.
in the amount of $498,636.35;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and the city staff and
engineering representative have inspected it and found it
acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, previous payments have been made in the amount of
$488,663.62, leaving an amount due to the contractor of
$9,972.73.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1987 Cypress Water Treatment Plant Renovation Project is
hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is authorized to
make a final payment of $9,972.73 to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 6TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER,
1988.
